Hong Kong people love to go camping in the countryside, breathe fresh air and enjoy the beauty of nature. But besides having fun, have we noticed that the waste and resource waste generated from camping are actually gradually putting pressure on the countryside?
Want to have fun and be environmentally friendly while camping? Here's your chance!
In mid-April, 'Green in Sai Kung' will hold a weekend event themed around eco-friendly camping! We will teach you how to practice the 'Leave No Trace' concept and be a responsible camper. Join us for a fun-filled two-day program including interactive booth games, experiential workshops, and eco-information displays. Adults and children can learn about waste reduction by bringing your own cutlery, proper disposal of campsite garbage, and even hand-making camping gadgets! Hurry up and invite your family and friends to join us!
Target Audience: Open to the public
Selected Eco-Workshops:
Natural mosquito repellent balm / Glass camping lantern
Natural herbal mosquito incense / Umbrella rope flat knot bracelet
All activities are free of charge! If you want to learn eco-friendly camping skills, remember to set aside time to join us!
